Furnitureland South to Unveil New Modern Gallery

Furnitureland South will open a 40,000-square-foot gallery Tuesday at its Jamestown, N.C., store dedicated to modern furniture.
The Modern Gallery is the first of many renovations and additions the retailer has planned over the next two years.
Located on the fourth floor of the Mart building on the Furnitureland South campus, the Modern Gallery represents more than 25 manufacturers. In addition to furniture, the gallery’s vignettes feature lighting, rugs, and accessories. Brands represented include Calvin Klein, Saloom, Glassisimo, Precedent, Maria Yee, Domatalia and Copeland Furniture.
“This new gallery includes furniture across many price points, so there’s something here for everyone that loves the modern style,” said Jeff Harris, executive vice president of Furnitureland South. “Many of our customers have told us that they’re looking for the clean and simple sophistication of this category, so we’ve made sure that we’ve got the freshest lines and most current take on modern designs.”
Furnitureland South plans to open several more new galleries this year.
