Bedding vendor King Koil has promoted Geri Frank from sales and marketing coordinator to the newly created position of manager of marketing services.
In her new post, Frank reports to Chris Henning, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Willowbrook, Ill.-based King Koil, and will primarily serve as a liaison between King Koil’s suppliers and the company’s licensees. She also will assist in producing point-of-sale materials and ensure ongoing communications between sales executives in the field and at the corporate office.
“Geri has a lot of industry experience and knows our company very well,” Henning said. “We’re very pleased to promote her into this new post and fortunate to have her on our team.”
An 18-year mattress industry veteran, Frank first joined King Koil in 2010 as a national accounts sales administrator. She was promoted to sales and marketing coordinator in January, 2013.
Before her years with King Koil, Frank, a Chicago native, worked from 2003 to 2010 as a purchasing manager for the Englander Co. in Chicago and as a production manager for the former Spring Air-Chicago facility from 1996 to 2003.
A global bedding producer, King Koil is among the country’s Top 10 manufacturers and maintains an international licensing group that serves 80 countries.
