Based in Little Rock, Ark., Thumprints was founded in 2002 by Allison Davis. American Lighting Brands, based in Chicago, is the umbrella corporation for lighting companies Arroyo Craftsman, House of Troy, Framburg, and G. Scatchgard.
The companies will work together to provide a full realm of hand-crafted products including portables, fixtures, task and outdoor lighting.
“I am excited for Thumprints to join American Lighting Brands," said Davis CEO and designer of Thumprints. "Our complementary design philosophies and business synergies make it a great fit. Thumprints will have the opportunity to significantly expand our product line and custom capabilities, and further develop our Made in the U.S.A. collection, while continuing to provide our customers high quality, exceptional value, innovative design, and excellent customer service. Thumprints is proud to affiliate with companies that have rich histories and well-established brands in the lighting industry.”
Davis will continue as the lead designer for Thumprints.
“Thumprints broadens the range of styles we offer to our customers without competing directly with our current brands," said Malcolm Tripp, president and owner of American Lighting Brands. "We look forward to working with Allison and achieving the design, marketing, and operational synergies this combination affords us."
The companies will show as a joint entity at the June Dallas Market.
