Got Sleep? Donates Mosquito Nets for African Families

Mosquito-borne malaria remains one of the leading causes of death for children in Africa. The disease is most often contracted at night when the insects are most active.
To help families sleep more peacefully, Got Sleep? partnered with the United Nations Foundation's Nothing But Nets to donate insecticide-treated bed nets.
“It’s tough to imagine being afraid to fall asleep each night, but that’s the reality for many families in Sub-Saharan Africa," said Mike Wilson, executive vice president of marketing for 10-store Got Sleep? "We’re proud to change that for more than 750 families. Giving back is at the core of our company culture, and by the end of 2014, we’re striving to donate a total of 1,300 nets.”
For each sleep system purchased in its stores, the company donates funds for two long-lasting insecticide-treated bed nets to Nothing But Nets.
The retailer started its partnership with the organization last year. Since 2006, Nothing But Nets has delivered more than seven million nets.
