Katz Joins Magnussen as VP of Upholstery

Industry veteran Jeffrey Katz has joined case goods and upholstery vendor Magnussen Home as vice president of its upholstery division.

Katz has worked with number of retail and wholesale brands including Levitz, Homemakers, Sears, Broyhill, Schnadig and most recently Emerald Home Furnishings, where as vice president of upholstery, he developed a successful import upholstery program.

“Jeff brings extensive industry experience with an emphasis in upholstery that will be beneficial to set a clear vision and strategy for our new upholstery division," said Magnussen Home President Nathan Cressman. "The addition of Jeff Katz to Magnussen’s  merchandising and management team will further enhance Magnussen Home’s growth as a complete home resource, offering products and programs in upholstery, occasional tables, home entertainment, home office, master bedroom and youth furniture to our retail partners.”

Magnussen Home has permanent showrooms in High Point, Toronto and Las Vegas, Nev., with state-of-the-art warehouses and distribution centers in Ontario, Calif., and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Its U.S. sales and marketing offices are located in Greensboro, N.C. The Canadian company is headquartered in New Hamburg, Ontario.
