Michael Beaver Joins Zenith as Senior VP

Michael Beaver has joined specialized furniture carrier and logistics provider Zenith Global Logistics as senior vice president, home delivery, a new position.
Beaver, who reports to President and CEO Jack Hawn, is responsible for leading the development and management of Zenith Global’s white glove home delivery service, which is fully integrated with its national line haul network.
“We’ve grown our home delivery fleet and hub network significantly over the past several years, and because of this it was time to add additional strategic leadership to our team,” said Hawn. “Michael has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in logistics operations, systems, and business development, and his more than 20 years of experience will enable us to take the next important steps as we continue to expand our asset-based home delivery model.”
Beaver most recently served as senior director of business development for Exel Logistics, where he provided strategic leadership to the company’s key account management team and supported the growth of complex, high-impact retail supply chain solutions. Prior to this role, Beaver held senior executive logistics and operations posts at Harris Wholesale Inc., Reichhold Corp., Ernst & Young LLP, and Ashland Chemical.

Beaver earned a BS in industrial distribution engineering from Clarkson University and an MBA from the University of South Florida. He also completed the Executive Leadership program at Harvard University’s Levinson Institute.
