Tim Ward has been named western regional sales manager for Loloi, a newly created position.
Ward is responsible for managing and training the company's independent sales team in the 10-state region of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Hawaii. He reports to Austin Craley, vice president of sales.
Most recently Ward was western regional area rug manager for Shaw Living Rugs, a post he held the past seven years. Prior to this role, he was the training and development manager at Shaw for five years before coming to the rug division. He spent over 10 years as a merchant with Home Base/House2Home, a major California retailer. He has more than 22 years of experience in the rug industry.
"Tim is highly respected in our industry, and his extensive experience in the West Coast regions will help Loloi continue to support our growth initiatives," said Amir Loloi, Loloi founder and president. "He has tremendous expertise at managing and training talented sales teams, and in helping retailers maximize their sales potential."
"I am excited to be joining the outstanding Loloi team," Ward said. "The company has achieved remarkable success in just a brief period of time, and I look forward to helping them reach new heights in the years ahead. Loloi has an incredibly talented team in the region already, and I look forward to being a part of that effort."
