SFC Webinar to Examine Greenwashing

The event, scheduled for noon-1 p.m., Thursday, March 20, features UL Environment National Manager of Education and Training Paul Bates, who will cover the importance of sustainable attributes in the furniture and furnishings industry and weeding out the truth in all things sustainable.

In light of the recent update to the Federal Trade Commission’s Green Guidelines, manufacturers can face fines and loss of public trust if convicted of greenwashing a product’s attributes.
