Christopher Phillips has joined the company as director of marketing. Phillips, who has 15-plus years experience in furniture-industry advertising and marketing, came to Legacy Classic from La-Z-Boy Casegoods, where he spent 10 years handling creative services, photography and marketing for multiple brands.
“My goals at Legacy Classic and Legacy Classic Kids are to continue to improve the overall look and perception of the brands and find creative avenues to market and communicate about the quality products we offer,” Phillips said.
Burke Ivey, director of product development and engineering, most recently worked at HighTower Group LLC, where he led product development since 2007 and was instrumental in growing the entrepreneurial company. Over his career, he has worked with brands such as Furniture Brands International, Baker Furniture and Lexington Furniture.
“I am fortunate to be joining a respected company that prides itself not only on the quality of product, but also the quality of operations,” Ivey said.
Ron Hales joined Legacy Classic as director of supply chain and inventory planning. Hales spent 15 years with Thomasville as a production, supply chain and inventory manager. He is a member of the Piedmont Triad Chapter of APICS--the leading professional association for supply chain and operations management--and holds the designation of CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).
“I am excited to start a new challenge at Legacy Classic and look forward to working with the team to further develop and improve the Supply Chain piece of the companies,” Hales said.
“The wealth of knowledge and experience of these individuals in their fields will be a key addition to the Legacy Classic family," said Legacy Classic President Mike Harris." We view these appointments as an on going sign of our commitment to being a leading company in our industry.”
