Gloster America Names Randy Wells CEO

He takes over the responsibilities of Charles Vernon, who is planning his retirement. Wells will join Gloster America, South Boston, Va., on March 24. He will report to Angelo van Tol, chairman of the Gloster Group board; and will lead and support the Gloster America team of Eric Parsons, president and director of retail and trade sales; Pamela Clark, director of contract sales; Philip Behrens, product development manager; and John Nelson, CFO and COO.

Wells brings more than 20 years of furniture industry experience, most recently with Stanley Furniture, where he is vice president of creative & brand development.

"His marketing and brand building expertise along with his energy and drive will serve in further developing our North American business," said van Tol and Vernon in the announcement of Wells' new post.
