DOC Applies 216 Percent Preliminary Rate on 2012 China Bedroom Shipments

The U.S. Department of Commerce has applied a preliminary duty rate of 216.01 percent on 2012 shipments of wood bedroom furniture from China.

A final ruling on the 2012 administrative review is expected within three months.

Two Chinese manufacturers received separate duty rates in the preliminary ruling of the review. Hualing Furniture (also doing business as Tony House and Buysell Investments) got a 3.81 percent duty; and Dongguan Chengcheng Group Co. Ltd. received a 10.71 percent duty.
