Cory Home Delivery Marks 80th Anniversary

Home furnishings delivery company Cory will celebrate its 80th anniversary at an evening gala in April.
The event, set for April 27 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J., will include industry dignitaries, longtime associates, family members, friends and company representatives.
“We are humbled and proud to bring industry notables and friends together to celebrate this special moment,” said CEO Patrick Cory, grandson of founder Joseph Cory and son of chairman of the board Joe Cory Sr.
Marking the occasion with a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, entertainment, and a short program honoring the people and the events impacting 80 years in business, the gala is a celebration of industry milestones and the many people who have helped the company remain dedicated to the founding principles that Joseph Cory established in 1934.
”As my grandfather would often say, in our business there are only two things of importance,” Patrick Cory said. “One is the customer, and the other is the furniture. If you take care of customers, they come back. If you take care of the furniture, it doesn’t. It’s just that simple — and just that difficult.”
