Wright Invests Millions in Expansion

Wright Global Graphics, Thomasville, N.C.,has purchased nine new pieces of equipment, including new, high-end digital presses in both its Dalton, Ga., and Thomasville plants. These high-tech presses increase production capability and offer dramatic improvements in quality over the previous generations of machinery. Wright recently debuted its customized $1.5 million eight-color Mark Andy P5 press; and has now invested in the EFI VUTEk Qs3 Pro wide-format printer, which increases speed, offers an additional width capacity of up to three meters and boasts higher quality results. The company also has added several looms that effectively increase job capacity by 30 percent and reduce turnaround time on Wright's woven labels. Wright remains one of the only companies to produce woven labels domestically in the United States.
