Hooker Names Jacobsen SVP of Administration

Hooker Furniture (NASDAQ-GS: HOFT) has promoted Anne Jacobsen to the position of senior vice president-administration from vice president of administration and human resources.
In her new position, Jacobsen adds responsibility for the company’s contract furniture division, H Contract, to her current responsibilities for overseeing human resources, customer service and information technology.
“Since Anne joined Hooker six years ago as Director - Human Resources, she has done an outstanding job, contributing on many levels while working across all three companies—Hooker, Bradington-Young and Sam Moore, and more recently with our new business start-ups," said Martinsville, Va.-based Hooker's CEO Paul Toms. "We feel extremely fortunate to have her as a member of our executive officer group and are confident she will perform well in this expanded role.”
Jacobsen continues to report to Toms.
She joined Hooker in 2008 as director-human resources with 20 years of experience in human resources management.
