One King's Lane Raises $112 Million

One Kings Lane, the home furnishings e-tailer, has announced a $112 million venture capital round. The new round of financing brings the startup to a $912 million valuation.
The round was led by Mousse Partners and all prior investors participated, including Kleiner Perkins and Greylock Partners. One Kings Lane has raised $229 million to date.
The e-commerce platform, which offers furniture and other home items via timed sales, is similar in nature to Wayfair’s Joss & Main. One Kings Lane can also be seen as a competitor to Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma.
One Kings Lane entered the consumer-to-consumer marketplace last year, with the addition of Hunters Alley. Like eBay, users can resell items online.
