Martin Home Furnishings Launches New Web Site

The San Diego-based company looks to improve its online presence and has now provided users with an easy-to-use site.

"So far, we have received a great response from our end users," said Paul Tabeek, vice president of sales and marketing.
The project took several months, with the goal of designing a site where all the information users want or need is less than three clicks away. The design team evaluated each feature of the old site and implemented improvements to enhance the user's experience.
The new site has a clean, modern look with several new features. Users are now able to search products by keyword or item number, which eliminates tedious manual searches. Visitors, who are looking to browse through items, can easily navigate through categories such as products, collections, or styles. Martin is specifically proud of the individual product pages, which offer a wealth of information including dimensions, images and videos along with other related products for users to browse. Users can even share product information on their favorite social network.

Additionally, the Find a Retailer search feature is now powered by Google Maps; and users can search by ZIP code, then choose the distance they are willing to travel.

"With new, interactive features, we have attracted thousands of new visitors who are spending more time on our site viewing our products, and learning more about Martin Home Furnishings," said Gil Martin, president.
