Hipple & Team to Present A Pathway to Profit Seminar

A Pathway to Profit

Industry strategist and author Caroline Hipple, chief energy officer of HB2 Resources, will explore "A Pathway to Profit," a new business book from Friesen Press, during an educational event at the Las Vegas Market.

Set for Sunday, January 26 at 3 p.m., in Building C, space C174, the seminar is sponsored by WithIt and International Market Centers. There is no charge to attend A Pathway to Profit, but seating is limited and reservations are encouraged. Online registration is available.

As part of the event, Hipple and her co-authors, long-time business partners Dixon Bartlett, Anita Pugh and Chris Matthies, will share their unique formula for both personal and organizational success, designed to help both individuals and organizations navigate difficult times.

“A Pathway to Profit is more than a management book,” Hipple said. “It’s a primer giving a behind-the-scenes picture of developing a culture linking people and profit. The Pathway describes a recommended architecture on which to build an organization’s culture and presents a plan for developing leaders to ensure associate participation and achieving results. This management philosophy guides for-profit companies and non-profit organizations, and works for different ages and diverse backgrounds. In fact, it works for any team with a leader.”

According to the authors, “A Pathway to Profit” is the story of the culture of caring, which connects developing and empowering people to creating profits. “This is the stuff that really moves the meter,” Hipple said. “When you think about it, this is one of the last frontiers for gaining a competitive edge. Price is no longer a competitive edge, nor is great style, because so many people can do it. It’s the people, the team and the feeling of inclusiveness and empowerment—the grey areas—that attract better and better people, and therein lies the opportunity to gain competitive edge.”

Hipple and her team offer a pathway to making the “grey areas” more tangible—sharing actual experiences to illustrate each step, along with a practical process and wisdom that seems to come from an old friend, rather than a business school text book. During the seminar, Hipple will also introduce a step-by-step method for creating change and lead a practical exercise with seminar participants.

“'A Pathway to Profit' is literally hot off the presses and we are thrilled to announce that we will have copies available for purchase immediately following the presentation,” said Violette Forman, 2014 president of WithIt. “Caroline and the entire HB2 team are known for being smart, insightful and engaging speakers and this topic could not be timelier. This is, without a doubt, a must-attend Market event that everyone should have on their agenda.”
