Sleep Train Builds on Foster Kids Program

Bedding retailer Sleep Train’s Foster Kids program just wrapped up a record-breaking year in which it brought in a 272.000 donations to benefit foster children.

Sleep Train hosted six community donation drives in its more than 100 stores in California to help the state's 60,000-plus foster children.

To build upon its charitable giving, the retailer has built an online platform to make it easier for people to contribute through its DonorDrive platform.

The Web site allows donors to create their own personal campaigns to raise money online. These funds are then used to purchase essential items in conjunction with the current Sleep Train Foster Kids program drive. Participants have access to a set of tools so they can seamlessly and securely collect funds, share their campaign with friends and track their success.
