DFW Furniture Liquidation Sales Underway

The sales at the eight of the retailers 11 stores started December 26.

Founded in 2004 DFW Furniture filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November. 

Planned Furniture Promotions www.pfpromotions.com is managing the sales.

DFW Furniture intends to work with the customers who have made deposits prior to the Chapter 11 filing.  DFW Furniture’s goal is to honor as many of these deposits as possible under the circumstances. 

“This was an important aspect of the bankruptcy filing,” said Charles Kidder, DFW president. “DFW Furniture wanted this bankruptcy to have as little negative impact on our loyal customers as possible, so we worked very closely with our legal team and the bankruptcy court to put our customers first.” 

The Columbus, Ohio, store will continue to operate under the direct management and control of DFW Furniture. The Wexford, Pa. and Huntington, W.Va., store have been closed.
