Ed Myers has joined Zenith Global Logistics as vice president of sales for the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region.

Myers is responsible for developing and managing the sales activity in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

“Zenith Global Logistics has witnessed significant growth in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, and because of this we felt it was time to expand our sales team in this geographic area,” said Jack Hawn, president and CEO. “Ed’s more than three decades of home furnishings experience in sales, merchandising, and operations management will make him a valuable addition, and we look forward to having him work with our customers to provide comprehensive 3PL solutions tailored to their unique markets.”

Myers is based in Zenith's Aberdeen, Md., hub.

“I’m delighted to be joining Zenith Global Logistics and plan to work closely with their team to develop even stronger business relationships with customers,” Myers said. “Zenith is the market leader in home furnishings logistics, and so I’m looking forward to bringing world-class solutions to furniture manufacturers, retailers, and importers, as well as interior designers and the hospitality segment.”

Most recently, Myers was a sales representative for Broyill.  Prior to that, he was with Drexel Heritage for about 20 years holding roles that included COO, chief merchandiser and vice president. He is past president and chairman of the board for the International Home Furnishings Representatives Association and past president and chairman of the board for the Tri-State Home Furnishings Association.
