Chromcraft Revington Relocates to IHFC

By Home Furnishings Business in on March 28, 2013

Home furnishings supplier Chromcraft Revington is relocating its showroom to the International Home Furnishings Center for next month's High Point Market.

The company will show in a 10,000-square-foot showroom in the Commerce Wing, moving from its location in Showplace. The space is C602.

"With the IMC portfolio of properties in High Point, we are able to find the right location for all of our customers and create a more efficient shopping experience for buyers," said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers. "This new location for Chromcraft Revington will place them near other major sources with a similar target customer base."

Chromcraft Revington's showroom will be organized by brand, starting off with Peters-Revington on the right of the entrance, Chromcraft to the left and Cochrane in the middle of the layout.

"Cochrane will be adding two new bedrooms - a traditional group and a fresh transitional group scaled for today's lifestyles," said Mike Hanna, senior vice president. "We have a new team working on this and they've developed two very exciting new designs.

Peters-Revington, Chromcraft Revington's occasional brand, will introduce five new table and entertainment groups. The offerings will include upscale transitional looks and new promotionally priced TV consoles.

Chromcraft is bringing out new promotional metal and solid-wood dining sets. The brand also is adding memory foam to its entire swivel-tilt bucket chair lineup, based on the highly positive response it received to a few introductions made at the October market.

"We're anticipating a very good market," Hanna said "Our new showroom will enhance our visibility, and we expect to write a good deal of business."

As of April 1, Chromcraft Revington is consolidating all its residential furniture operations into its Senatobia, Miss., facility. The company has closed its office in China and is merging its Delphi, Ind., distribution center into the Senatobia operation so that customers can receive all brands from one location. The Chromcraft Contract division also is based in Senatobia.

"The addition of Chromcraft Revington provides another compelling reason why the IHFC is a can't-miss destination during the High Point Market," Messner said. "The IHFC is the ideal location for this group of high-profile brands."
