Baumberger to Lead Pure LatexBliss SW Sales

Steve Baumberger has joined luxury mattress brand Pure LatexBliss to lead sales for the company€™s growing southwest division.

Baumberger comes to Atlanta-baed PureLatexBliss, Atlanta, with more than 20 years of sales experience. Prior to Pure LatexBliss, Baumberger served as a senior territory manager for International Bedding Group where he was responsible for spearheading sales growth in Southern California. Prior to that post, he was president of Baumberger€™s Furniture from 1997 to 2007. Baumberger is credited with tripling the company€™s revenue in only a few years. He first joined the family business in 1992 as a sales representative and assistant manager. Previously, Baumberger held a sales management position at Bassett Furniture in Irvine, Calif., covering the Southern California territory.

€œSteve brings over 20 years of sales experience with a superior understanding of mattress retail, sales management, merchandising and sales training. His extensive industry insight makes him the ideal person to build our business in the southwest,€ said Pure LatexBliss President Kurt Ling. €œWe continue to hire seasoned executives with specific sales backgrounds and a deep understanding of the sleep products industry to support our strategic growth plan.€

Baumberger received his bachelor€™s of arts degree from Indiana University. He currently resides in Ladera Ranch, Calif., with his family.

Prepac Moves to Larger Vegas Showroom

RTA furniture vendor Prepac Mfg. has a new and larger showroom for next week's Las Vegas Furniture Market.

The company, which manufactures more than 300 SKUs of RTA furniture ranging from bedroom to media, is moving into World Market Center-B705. The new showroom will showcase the company€™s most popular products, along with innovative new ideas in RTA Furniture.

One of Prepac€™s strengths is its ability to quick ship all 300 plus SKUs in less than 48 hours directly to any address in the 48 contiguous states, Alaska and Hawaii, and the 10 provinces in Canada.

MRINetwork Opens Salt Lake City Office

Phillips Collection Teams with Roger Thomas for License

High-end contemporary furniture vendor Phillips Collection will produce a collection licensed with acclaimed hotel and furniture designer Roger Thomas.

Phillips Collection will expand the current offerings of The Roger Thomas Collection, which currently includes signature designs of mirrors, furniture, carpet, green sustainable lighting, and outdoor furnishings.

Lazar to Furnish Olympics Set

Upholstered furniture manufacturer Lazar will provide seating for the NBC set of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

NBC host Bob Costas and other NBC team members will use the chairs on-air during the casting of the Summer Games.
 
€œThis is our second time providing seating for NBC through one of our fine accounts in Vancouver, Parliament Furnishings, and we are excited to have our products used for this great event,€ said Lazar President Robert Luce. €œWe had to turn around this product order in about five hours to meet the deadline, but we made it.€

Lazar has production facilities in Los Angeles, Calif., and Siler City, N.C.
