Beach living brand Panama Jack will add three outdoor furniture collections and one indoor at High Point Furniture Market.
New to the home furnishings market only two years ago, the company says Panama Jack furniture is now carried by more than 100 top retailers across the country.
Panama Jack furniture has been very well received by retailers, said Stephen Giles, president of Palmetto Home, which designs and manufactures the companys indoor Home Collection. They like the fun lifestyle it represents, and appreciate its great styling and good value. Pieces are also selling extremely well. One retailer told me, its the quickest thing out the gate.
Panama Jack has been working closely with its partner retailers to create a comfortable oasis on showroom floors that evokes the cool, casual vibe of the brand. A Panama Jack beach-cruiser bike might be displayed next to a signature chaise lounge, for example. Increasingly, retailers are also showing pieces from Panama Jacks outdoor and indoor collections together.
Theres a definite synergy between Panama Jacks Home and Outdoor collections, and its creating a lot of excitement at market, Giles said.
We are very pleased that Panama Jack furniture is resonating so strongly with retailers and consumers, said company President Kim Manna. People today are looking for value and versatility in the products they buy, whether its sunscreen products or patio furniture. We are proud that people know, with absolute certainty, that they have those attributes in Panama Jack products.
The new offerings from the Panama Jack Outdoor Collection are St. Barths, Fire Pits and Adirondack. Designed and made by exclusive outdoor licensee Pelican Reef Wicker, the new product lines target younger consumers with lower prices and more casual styling:
¢ St. Barths consists of a six-piece sectional, stackable chairs, chaise lounges, barstools and woven tables in various sizes. The pieces are constructed of an extruded powder-coated aluminum frame, which are then woven with a thick brown fiber. The modular sectional retails for $1,999.
¢ The Fire Pits Collection features a 30-inch copper fire pit with a metal base. The fire pits transform routine outdoor get-togethers into warm, intimate gatherings, ideal for families and friends. Prices start at $149.99 retail.
¢ The Adirondack Collection consists of colorful Adirondack chairs made from cypress wood. They are made in the USA with stainless-steel hardware and finished in Sherwin Williams paint. Panama Jacks signature Chairman of the Boards, Sailfish and Parrot logos emblazon the chair backs. The new chair retails for $399.
Panama Jacks Outdoor Collection introduced two new collections last yearIsland Breeze and Leeward Island. A sixth collectionUmbrellais also in the works, and will be sneak-previewed at High Point Market.
The latest line in the companys Home Collection is the Key Biscayne Collection, which features a full line of bedroom, dining room and living room furniture. An interlocking weave pattern gives the pieces a fresh design element and visually-appealing texture. The new collection is hip, innovative and equally at home in a modern loft or a seaside condo. Its Queen panel bed retails for $799.
