Just in time for the Memorial Day holiday weekend,
Bob's Discount Furniture has opened two locationsSecaucus, N.J., and Flushing, N.Y.
The two stores now give the retailer 38 locations throughout New England, New Jersey and New York.
"It is with much anticipated excitement that we are kicking off our Memorial Weekend by opening our 37th and 38th new store in Secaucus and Flushing," said Bob Kaufman, president, Bobs Discount Furniture. "The entire Bobs team looks forward to offering the new communities and partner with the communities through our bobs outreach program."
The Secaucus store will bring 120 jobs to the area, and the Flushing store will bring 75 jobs.
Both locations hosted grand opening events that will run through the holiday weekend, and the retailer will also be making $10,000 in donations to youth-focused organizations in the two communities.

Planning tools for the Aug. 2-6 market can be found in a number of places for the various mini-markets that will be ongoing
Las Vegas Market;
Gift+Home; and
VegasKids.
"Our new Web sites present a seamless experience that provides easy access to registration and other resources essential to enhancing attendees experience," said Michelle Monteferrante, vice president of operations for World Market Center Las Vegas. "And with our strong relationships with our hotel operators, we are able to secure great options, from high-end suites to value accommodations at incredible discounted rates."
The Market has negotiated 27 hotel offerings for August with rates as low as $39 a night with some of the more upscale hotels with rates of $91 a night. Discounted hotels can be guaranteed by booking online on or before July 1.
Discounted airline and rental cars can also be found online.
Market-goers pre-registering before July 16 will receive market badges in the mail thus eliminating the need to wait in line upon arrival.

Costco Wholesale Corp. (NASDAQ: COST) reported net income of $306 million for the third quarter ended May 9, compared to $210 million during the same quarter in 2009.
Net sales for the quarter climbed 12 percent to $17.39 billion from $15.48 million during the third quarter of last year. Net sales for the first 36 weeks of the year, increased 10 percent to $52.66 billion from $48 billion during the first 36 weeks of fiscal 2009.
Same-store sales for the quarter climbed 10 percent and comparable-store sales for the three quarters climbed 7 percent.
Net income for the 36-week period of fiscal 2010 was $871 million, compared to net income for the 36-weeks of fiscal 2009 of $712 million.
