DesignIntelligence publishes an annual report of "America's Best Architecture & Design Schools". This is the year 15th year the company has published the report.
SCAD’s Collaborative Learning Center projects and the university’s cross-disciplinary approach, with more than 40 majors, engage business professionals, students and faculty in real-world partnerships. Interior design students have collaborated with companies including Dell, Hugo Boss, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Benetton, Microsoft, Reebok, JCB, VTech, Cellular Sales and The Limited.
SCAD students also gain a global perspective on the discipline by having the opportunity to study interior design at the university’s locations in the United States, France, Hong Kong, and online. SCAD has created inspiring environments for artists and designers at each of its locations, revitalizing more than 100 buildings around the globe.
UNESCO, the American Institute of Architects, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, among others, have recognized SCAD for its efforts.
