Kinline Moves to Furniture Plaza

Kinfine, a factory-direct accent furniture resource, is showing in a 4,100-square-foot showroom in Space 500 of Furniture Plaza. It previously showed in the IHFC’s Hamilton wing. The company’s line
includes occasional furniture, ottomans, benches, fabric headboards, dining chairs, barstools, accent chairs, accent tables and juvenile items.
“Our new showroom is twice the size of our old location, so we’ll be able to show a full representation of all our categories now,” said Jennifer Schock, senior vice president. “Having more space gives us the ability to create more trend vignettes that spotlight specific color and fashion directions. This approach, which is similar to what we do in our Las Vegas showroom, gives our retailers a better sense for how our products can work on their own floors--and in the consumer’s Home.”
At market, Kinfine will introduce a variety of new juvenile items in “fun, fresh colors,” said Schock. “We’ll also feature a number of new accent chairs.”
Kinfine’s U.S. operation is headquartered in Chino, Calif., where it has a distribution facility. An additional sales office is located in Minneapolis. The company offers both a domestic warehouse program and a drop-ship program from the Chino location, as well as direct-container shipping from its production facility in China. The company sells a mix of traditional furniture stores, major discount and department stores, lifestyle specialists and e-commerce retailers.
“We’re known for our value pricing, logistical execution, fast-turn service and custom capabilities,” said Schock. “Each retailer can work with us to customize their accent furniture assortment, and we can make it happen at a low cost.”
“The addition of Kinfine adds another strong upholstery source to Furniture Plaza’s exhibitor mix,” said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers. “They expand the range of options for retailers seeking high-value, factory-direct products.”
