Global Views, Studio A Expand in High Point

At just under 18,000 square feet, the combined showrooms, IHFC-D220 and IHFC-D232, have gained roughly 6,000 square feet. These additions provide both showrooms with the opportunity to segment and showcase individual lines, such as an official “Lamp Room” within the Global Views space, as well as a room devoted entirely to the company’s increasing seating category. For Studio A, the renovation makes room for the debut of three brand new categories: rugs, dining tables, and chandeliers.
Global Views CEO David Gebhart said that the additional space also allows more areas to be dedicated to the companies’ prominent lifestyle merchandising.
“We can now fully mix and represent every aspect of home décor and furnishings, from rugs to full-sized upholstered furniture, from lighting to our signature decorative accessories,” he said. “The first time Global Views showed in High Point was April of 1997. We had approximately 300 square feet at the time. This is a very exciting High Point for both Global Views and Studio A. Many years of work are culminating in a truly rich merchandised experience.”
In celebration of the newly expanded and renovated showrooms, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m, IHFC-D220 and D232. Both Global Views and Studio A will serve celebratory cocktails and hors d’oeuvres directly following the ceremony.
