La-Z-Boy Promotes Mueller to VP, Controller

La-Z-Boy has named Margaret Peg Mueller vice president, corporate controller.
Mueller, 38, succeeds Mark Copping, who has left the company.
In her new capacity, Mueller will be responsible for corporate accounting, accounting consolidations, the corporations internal and external financial reporting, payroll and internal control compliance in addition to special projects and analysis. She will report to Mike Riccio, chief financial officer.
I am delighted that Peg has accepted the corporate controllers position as she has been a significant asset to our company over the years and has been a true leader in our corporate accounting department, Riccio said.
Mueller joined La-Z-Boys corporate accounting department in 1993 and, over the 14-year period, has held various positions of increasing responsibility.
