Blumenfeld, the former President of the New York chapter of AIA, is the lead interior designer for the New York Police Academy's training barracks in College Point, Queens and a major contributor to New York City's Active Design Guidelines-Mayor Bloomberg's directive to augment New Yorker's health and fitness through architecture, interior design, and urban planning.
