NoLa Auction Series Features Vignettes By Local Interior Designers

This Saturday and Sunday, NOAG will present Cakebread Designer Auction, which celebrates an integrative approach to interior design that blends traditional and innovative décor, the auction series will present an attractive mix of antique, vintage, and contemporary art, furniture, jewelry, silver and objets d’art. 
 
Five New Orleans interior designers were invited to creatively curate vignettes in NOAG’s main showroom that will be offered in the auction. The featured designers include: Chet Pourciau of Chet Pourciau Design; Mary Lou Fewell  of Shades of Blue Inc.; Chad and Christina Graci  of Graci Interiors; Jennifer Kelly  of Designlab; and Rivers Spencer of Rivers Spencer Interiors. The event is sponsored by New Orleans Living Magazine and Martin Wine Cellar.
 
The vignettes are showcased during an exhibition Tuesday through Friday, and an evening preview reception on Thursday, 5-7 p.m. The exhibition culminates with a two-day auction when every item used in the designer vignettes is available for purchase. Bids can be placed online, by phone or in person.
