120 New Temps at Las Vegas Market

Almost 120 new companies are included in 390-plus temporary exhibitors at next week's Las Vegas Furniture Market.

Las Vegas Market has expanded and realigned its temporary gift and home décor exhibition space to feature 75,000 square feet of gift, lifestyle, handcrafts, fashion and personal accessories, tabletop, decorative accessories and home décor across four floors in World Market Center's Building C. That's in addition to 35,000 square feet of bedroom, living room, dining, upholstery, outdoor furniture, rustic, juvenile and mattresses on the second floor in Building B.

"The strategic realignment of Building C creates dynamic new synergies between gift and home décor temporary exhibitors and permanent showrooms with similar product categories, and produces a streamlined and more unified shopping experience for buyers," said out Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. "As the leading home furnishings and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market is continually infusing the marketplace with temporary resources as an additional way to maximize the market experience for participants."

Within Building C, 320+ temporary exhibitors are organized into 10 distinctive themed product sections, with three home-focused categories (Home, Styles and Textiles) and one handcrafted category (Made) on C5; and five gift -focused categories (Gift, Global, Gourmet, Vintage and Carry!) on C11. This summer, Trend category temporary exhibits will be presented on floor C10 alongside the new "C10 Lifestyle Collection" of permanent showrooms anchored by Anne McGilvray, Archipelago, Camille Beckman, Glory Haus and Just Got 2 Have It.

The home furnishings temporaries on B2 are completely sold out and feature 70 home furnishings suppliers offering a broad selection of products spanning all home furnishings categories. Summer 2013 will mark the debut of the UBM Sinoexpo pavilion and DGNED (Indonesian pavilion), and the addition of new B2 temporary exhibitors including Cannon Safe Inc, LightHeades Beds, MPACWOOD, Patiologic, QSTO, Timber Art Design and Wayborn Home Furnishings, plus many more.

In addition to the newly-reorganized temporary floors in Building C, the new c-ONE cross-category showcase makes its debut at the Summer 2013 Las Vegas Market. The c-ONE showcase will present some 45 iconic home décor resources in both permanent showrooms and temporary exhibitions, with c-ONE temporary presentations utilizing nearly 12,000 square feet of exhibit space.  The most recent additions to c-ONE's roster of top-level suppliers in temporary presentations include: Chairs & Tassels, Ion Design Furniture, Mitchell Black LLC, Oliver Gal, Plat du Jour, Pheromone and PublicLight USA. These companies join previously committed suppliers Ann Gish, Jonathan Adler, Fatboy USA, Tara Shaw, and many others.

In line with this influx of new temporary exhibitors, this summer International Market Centers will hold a temporary booth awards program, recognizing exhibitors who have demonstrated exceptional and inspirational booth design and visual merchandising.  Winners, based on overall visual appeal, creative merchandising, brand messaging and boothmanship, will be announced on Wednesday, July 31.
