Upholstered furniture resource Pearson will unveil a couture upholstery collection in collaboration with Kim Scodro at two venues this fall, including the upcoming High Point Market, Oct 13-17.
“We are very excited to collaborate with Kim Scodro to create this elegant collection of luxurious upholstery for Pearson,” said Kevin Bowman, president. “Kim’s aesthetic and personality are perfectly matched to our vision for Pearson. We believe that our loyal design clientele turn to Pearson for bench made upholstery and textiles that are elegant, exclusive and luxuriously comfortable.”
The first unveiling will be held in New York City at the Hickory Chair – Pearson – Henredon Interior Design Showroom, Space 102, at the New York Design Center on Thursday, Sept. 13, as part of the annual “What’s New What’s Next @ 200 Lex” event.
The second unveiling will debut the entire Kim Scodro for Pearson collection on Friday, Oct. 12 at the High Point Fall Market in North Carolina. In collaboration with Scodro, a major renovation of the Pearson Showroom has been executed to create an inspirational space where the elegant upholstery collection will be showcased. The collection includes sofas, chairs, barstools, ottomans and a skirted end table— all bench made in Pearson’s Hickory, N.C. workroom. The Kim Scodro Collection is the largest licensed collection ever launched by Pearson.
The Pearson showroom will feature a special Fromental wallpaper chosen by Scodro and paintings by Atlanta, GA. artist Renee Bouchon. Scodro has also collaborated with the Pearson design team to source fabrics from around the world for the collection.
A launch event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 in the Pearson Showroom on the third floor of Market Square from 4-6 p.m.
