Hollywood Bed Expands, Moves at Las Vegas Market

Bedding support specialist Hollywood Bed Frame Co. is expanding and relocating its showroom for the July 29-August 2 Las Vegas Furniture Market.

Exhibiting in space World Market Center-A920 for the Summer Market, Hollywood Bed has expanded its showroom by more than 30 percent. As part of the relocation, it has signed a new two-year lease.

“As our product line continues to grow, we needed additional space to allow retailers the opportunity to view the complete range of our offerings,” said Jason Harrow , president. “Bedding support products--such as bed frames, rollaway beds, daybeds, bedrails and other bedding support hardware--are our core business and, in recent years, we’ve expanded our line to offer the widest selection in the industry. The additional space will enable us to show our complete product line.”

At the Summer Market, Hollywood Bed will introduce two new products. The first, Envision, is a decorative approach to bedding support that creates a compelling complement to any bedroom. Priced at $199 for a queen, the new designer bed frame is available in Palladium Silver and a choice of custom colors.

“The Envision gives retailers an attractive bed frame to offer customers,” said Harrow. It’s a refreshing change from the standard angled design in brown that the industry has become accustomed to selling.”

In addition, Hollywood Bed will introduce a multifunctional ottoman that converts into a single bed for guest use. The product features a washable slipcover in beige, with a retail price point of $299.

“Thanks to successful product development and close partnerships with our retailers, we’re on track for our best year ever,” said Harrow. “Our strategy focuses on showing how retailers can turn bed frames into a profit center at retail. This category is often overlooked, but our track record demonstrates that bed frames can be an important contributor to the retailer’s bottom line.”

“The Las Vegas Market offers the industry’s best venue for seeing new bedding products, designs and technologies,” said Craig Staack, vice president of home furnishings leasing for International Market Centers. “Hollywood Bed’s showroom expansion provides a good example of how bedding’s presence in Las Vegas continues to grow.”
