Nine New Exhibitors, Six Expansions Among Vegas Market Headliners

Buoyed by brisk leasing activity in the past six months, Las Vegas Market officials said more than 300,000 square feet of new, expanded and renewed furniture showroom space is on the books for the Summer Market, which takes place July 30-Aug. 3.

Market officials said the latest list includes nine new furniture exhibitors, six expanded showrooms, and lease renewals signed by eight exhibitors.

In addition, officials said the market’s temporary furniture exhibit space on the second floor of Building B was sold out weeks ago.

“Debuts, expansions and renewals by industry-leading suppliers are reflective of the home furnishings industry’s confidence in the state of the industry overall, as well as a strong indication of their commitment to the Las Vegas Market in particular,” said Scott Eckman, president of furniture and home décor leasing and chief strategy officer for International Market Centers.

“No other U.S. market offers such a depth and breadth of key furniture, casual/outdoor and bedding resources, alongside such a wealth of complementary home décor and lifestyle gift offerings.”
