Market Authority, ASID List Five Design Seminars for April Market

Five seminars led by design industry experts will headline the popular Design Viewpoint Series at next month's High Point Market.

The seminars, sponsored by the High Point Market Authority and the American Society of Interior Designers, will take place Saturday, April 23 through Monday, April 24. Four of the events will be held at the High Point Theater, which is next to the Transportation Terminal in downtown High Point, and one is scheduled for the Surya showroom, Showplace 4100.

The Design Viewpoints Series sessions are free and open to all interior designers, retailers, and other market attendees with a valid Spring Market pass. Designers can earn up to 0.5 continuing education units (CEUs) through the series.

“The Design Viewpoints Series is a well-recognized resource for interior designers and media coming to High Point Market looking for in-depth insights into the ever-evolving business of design,” said Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. “This Market’s sessions cover a wide variety of topics that I think the industry will find to be both informative and useful.”

“We carefully and intentionally selected these topics for the Design Viewpoints Series because we view them as being on the leading edge of how design impacts lives,” added Randy Fiser, CEO of ASID. “We want everyone attending a DVS session to walk away with useful and actionable information they can begin applying immediately to their design businesses. We’re very excited to share a wealth of information via the industry experts who will join us for each session at the leading home furnishings trade show in the world.”
