A Huntsville, Alabama grandmother became a YouTube sensation after a video of her falling into her granddaughter Lola’s too-tall crib was posted on the video-sharing website. Seizing the opportunity to make bedtime smarter and safer, Universal Furniture traveled to Alabama for a nursery makeover from its SmartStuff Furniture line, ensuring that Grandma never falls into the crib again.
According to a statement on the brand’s website, “Safety is our #1 priority, so when we saw the viral video of Grandma Valerie falling into baby Lola’s too-tall crib, we jumped into action. Using furniture from our #myRoom collection, we focused on taking care of all the nursery’s safety, function and style needs.”

SmartStuff will promote the makeover with the blog Young House Love in a series of podcasts starting early February.
