Worship Service Set for HP Market
September 22,
2016 by Jane Chero in High Point, Market
Re-Launched last market by the Furniture Fellowship Board, a Sunday morning, worship service open to all attendees and exhibitors of the Fall High Point Market will be held on Sunday, October 23 at 7 a.m. in the Universal Learning Center located just inside the main entrance of the Universal Furniture Showroom at 101 S. Hamilton Street in High Point.
The worship service is sponsored by the Furniture Fellowship Board, which plans and hosts the annual Furniture Fellowship Prayer Breakfast.
Bringing the message for the worship service will be Eric Mawyer, director of training for Guardian Protection Products who serves as a deacon in his home church and leader in men’s ministry.
His message, inspired from a passage in the book of Colossians and from personal perspectives, will examine the question, “Does God really have specific purposes for my life, or do I determine those purposes myself?
Leading in worship music for the service will be Joseph “Jodie” Davis, Furniture Designer ASFD. Jodie, a guitarist who has been active in his church choir since the age of 12, has performed solos, duos and trios at festivals and churches in the Lynchburg, Va. area and has been involved in musical fundraisers for the City of Hope in recent years.
The Furniture Fellowship also announces that the keynote speaker for the 2017 furniture industry prayer breakfast, scheduled for Friday, April 21, 2017, is Charles Billingsley, one of Christian music’s most captivating inspirational voices and a worship leader, father and teacher.
