Home Furnishings Business and FurnitureDealer.Net to Co-Host Event to Celebrate Forty Under 40 Honorees at Las Vegas Market

The event will be held Sunday, July 31 starting at 4:40pm at FurnitureDealer.Net’s lounge at B280 World Market Center.  Complimentary appetizers and drinks will be provided.  The event is open to all Market attendees and will celebrate this year’s Forty Under 40 class as well as honorees from previous years.

This is the third year Home Furnishings Business has presented the Forty Under 40.  2016 honorees were nominated by their industry peers  and come from home furnishings retailers, manufacturers and suppliers. Home Furnishings Business judges chose honorees based on leadership within their organization, professional achievements and civic involvement in their community and the industry.  

“These young people are driving growth, increasing revenue and making people around them better each day, and, in the process, making our industry better.  We salute them and thank them for their contributions!” said Bob George, Home Furnishings Business Editor in Chief.  “Sometimes, the great things we are doing and the great people doing them go unrecognized.  We want to make sure the best and brightest get the recognition they deserve,” according to Stefanie Lugar, Home Furnishings Business Executive Account Manager.

Immediately following the Forty Under 40 event is another event popular with young people—HFA’s Next Generation-Now group’s Las Vegas Market Bash which will be held in the Sky Lounge Bar at the High Roller in the LINQ Hotel from 8:45 – 9:45pm. It will feature drinks and networking followed by rides in the High Roller observation wheel for a limited number of registered participants.
