Twin-Star International Receives Five ADEX Platinum Awards for 2016

Five Twin-Star International products have been awarded the ADEX (Awards for Design Excellence) Platinum award.
Delray Beach, Fla.-based Twin-Star International has received 25 Platinum ADEX awards since 2006 and a total of 16 Gold ADEX awards and 12 Silver ADEX awards during the past 10 years.
“It is a great privilege to once again be recognized with not just one, but several Platinum ADEX awards,” said Marc Sculler, co-president of Twin-Star International. “The goal of our team of designers and engineers is to create high-quality, innovative products that meet the needs of our consumers. Receiving ADEX awards is an added bonus.”
The Platinum awards were awarded for the new Powerheat patent pending electric lantern heaters, the new patent pending Powerheat 3D flame effect electric stove heater, a Bell’O open architecture media console with built-in Bluetooth Bell’O Digital speakers, the Bell’O Digital sound bar shelf, and a white ClassicFlame modern TV stand with an electric fireplace.
ADEX is the largest and most prestigious award program for home, office, hospitality furnishings and building materials. Entries are judged on usefulness of the application, originality and innovation, technical merit, their effect on the global environment, feasibility of the design, efficient use of energy, innovative use of components, cost optimization and clarity of supporting documentation. The top designs are given Platinum, Gold or Silver awards and are featured in the International Design Journal.
