HTL Sets Showroom Opening in High Point

Upholstery supplier HTL International will open its 50,000-square-foot standalone showroom at the upcoming High Point Market

Located at 301 N. Main St. at the corner of English Road, the showroom will house the HTL, Domicil, Fabbrica, Muse, Gallery and Relax Studio lines under one roof.

“Our aim is to showcase the core strengths of HTL – service, quality, functionality and product design, into our customer experience,” said Phua Yong Tat, HTL’s group managing director. “We strongly believe that by offering a complete product and service solution, we can add better value to our customers’ business. Our wide price and product range is a reflection of that.”

In addition to the new showroom, HTL has named Mike Harris vice president of sales.

Harris has held a number of executive and sales positions throughout his 28-year furniture career. Most recently, Harris was president of Legacy Classic Furniture. Prior to joining Legacy Classic, he was president and equity partner of upholstery supplier Kevin Charles Furniture in New Albany, Miss. In addition, he spent the first 15 years in the industry as an independent sales representative for Klaussner, Palliser and Catnapper.

“We are pleased to have Mike join HTL in this exciting phase of our company’s long history,” said Gabriel Ho, HTL Furniture president. “He brings years of experience working in sales, product development, and executive roles across multiple product categories, with a strong understanding of the import business.”
