High Point Market Adds 2 Tours

The High Point Market Authority has teamed up with Soft Design Lab and Adorno Magazine to produce the tours.

Developed to bring new buyers to Market set for April 16-20, each tour includes a multi-day schedule of showroom visits, educational events and networking opportunities, designed to provide participants with a multi-faceted view of Market.

Returning for its third Market, the “VIP #HPMKT Experience” is produced and hosted by  Deb Barrett and Jackie Von Tobel of Soft Design Lab, an online base camp and community dedicated to providing education on soft furnishings design and business. The six-day, five-night tour is geared toward Market newcomers or those who haven’t been within the past few years. Including four star accommodations, private luncheons and dinners, a multitude of showroom presentations, a daily educational schedule and a wealth of social and networking events, the tour provides a comprehensive introduction to Market.

New this year, the “Elevate Luxury Design Tour” is produced and managed by Adorno Magazine, an online luxury interiors magazine with shoppable photos of luxury interior design. The four-night, three-day tour is created for the luxury design community. It will feature eight elite, million-dollar designers - Eric Cohler, William T Baker, Kevin Isbell, Joy Moyler, Greg Natale, Michelle Nussbaumer, Lonni Paul, and Michael Tavano – plus about 30 other luxury designers from around the U.S. The tour will include an invite-only gala hosted by Universal Furniture, a slew of showroom tours by sponsoring exhibitors and several educational events.
