High Point Market Authority Sets Spring Seminars

The High Point Market Authority and the American Society of Interior Designers have set the schedule for the educational seminar series for Spring Market.

The series will include several bonus sessions during Market Week, April 16-20. The Design Viewpoints Series and ASID Bonus Sessions will take place April 15-18, at the High Point Theatre, next to the Transportation Terminal in High Point.

Designers can earn up to .8 IDCEC approved continuing education units (CEUs) through the Design Viewpoints Series (.6 CEUs), the ASID Bonus Sessions (.1 CEUs) and the Opening Day Event (.1 CEUs).

The Design Viewpoints Series sessions are free to interior designers and retailers attending Spring Market, with the exception of the Friday extended session. On tap for the series are discussions on the importance of quality photography, laws and regulations affecting interior design businesses, securing media coverage, and a deep-dive into the key drivers of emerging trends within the interior design field.

“Our research has shown that interior designers and retailers come to the High Point Market to see new products, network with peers, meet new friends, and take advantage of our Design Viewpoints Series for continuing education credit,” said

Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. “We are excited to partner again with ASID on this seminar series, as they really have their pulse on topics of interest to our buyers.”

Randy Fiser, CEO of ASID, said the collaboration with High Point Market allows ASID the ability to offer educational opportunities to members and market goers.
