Currey & Co. Expands High Point Showroom, Signs Las Vegas Lease

The lighting, decorative accessories and accent furniture company is expanding its High Point Market showroom, and has signed a lease for a 6,400-square-foot showroom at the Las Vegas Market.

The company’s High Point showroom will get a 4,400-square-foot expansion taking the space to a total 16,000 square feet. The expanded space will be ready for the April Market.

Currey’s latest expansion at its showroom on the first floor in the Main wing of the International Home Furnishings Center took place in 2008 when the company added 7,000 square feet.

This year’s addition will further enhance the customer experience by providing additional space for product and more areas designed for socializing and entertaining.

“When a customer visits one of our showrooms it is really important to us that they feel illuminated by their surroundings and are able to experience each of our products in the right way,” said Brownlee Currey, president. “Not only are the design elements critical to this experience, but with recent product line expansions into furniture, upholstery and rugs, we realized to continue to deliver a great showroom environment we needed to expand.”

The company’s Las Vegas Market showroom will open for the Summer Market. The company said the showroom will allow it to better support its customer base in the West.
