Southern Motion Relocates High Point Showroom

The company had held a showroom in Center Point on Hamilton.

“A showroom in the heart of High Point Market gives us better access to buyers and provides an ideal opportunity to grow our business,” said Roger Bland, Southern Motion CEO.

“As we continue to grow and expand, we realized the need for a significantly larger space,” said G. Lipscomb, executive vice president of Southern Motion. “IMC provided the right location for us. Key channels for us to expand include furniture stores, catalog and Internet companies, as well as big box stores. We believe Furniture Plaza is a premier venue for us because those channels shop there consistently.”

In its new High Point showroom, Southern Motion will showcase its special-order and custom-cut business along with its complete product line of motion furniture – with 400 different fabric and 36 different leather options – available on any motion group or recliner in the product line.
