IFDA Sets 2016 Scholarship Competition

Scholarships are awarded to students planning to pursue professional careers in the design industry. Applications are accepted each year between March 1 and no later than March 31.
“The philanthropic and educational arm of IFDA, the Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization and the largest resource for grants and scholarships in the design industry,” said
Linda Mariani, director of scholarships and grants for the organization. “It actively supports a variety of learning opportunities for undergraduates, re-entering students and professionals seeking to enhance their skills.”
Six scholarships area available including the IFDA Leaders Commemorative Scholarship for $1,500; Part Time Student Scholarship for $1,500; IFDA Student Member Scholarship for $2,000; Vercille Voss Graduate Student Scholarship for $2,000; Ruth Clark Furniture Design Scholarship for $3,000; and the Tricia LeVangie Green Sustainable Scholarship for $1,500. Grants are offered later in the year.
