Jamie Drake, Caleb Anderson Join Firms

Jamie Drake and Caleb Anderson will each serve as co-principals of the united firm. Under the agreement, the duo will combine their staffs and will create a new brand in 2016.

Drake + Anderson will offer a range of bespoke interior design services including decorating, construction design and management planning for high-end residential and commercial clients.

While the desire to grow their businesses was instrumental in forming Drake + Anderson, the designers also wanted to evolve, leveraging their individual talents to expand their repertoire together. Drake is a noted modernist, and Anderson is known for his ability to mix traditional styles with modern elements. The combination of their strengths and distinct points of view make them ideal partners.

“I have always embraced change, and experiencing new styles, innovations and cultures gets my heart racing and my mind popping,” said Drake. “Combining my firm with that of a rising star like Caleb excites me. He has the remarkable ability to harmoniously combine antiques and other timeless pieces with custom, more modern designs, for a fresh look that people want today. Bridging styles and periods is the future, and I know that compelling, new design will emerge from our dialogue.” 

Anderson’s career was started at Drake Design Associates. He later built his own design firm. Anderson said he sees the merger as a great opportunity to work with Drake and to work with a larger team of designers.
