IIDA Names Global Excellence Winners

The International Interior Design Association in collaboration with Designworks has named the winners of the 2015 IIDA Global Excellence Awards.

This annual worldwide design competition honors and celebrates outstanding originality and excellence in the creation of international interior design and interior architecture projects.

“One of the most rewarding aspects of the Global Excellence Awards is seeing the variety of approaches to a design concept,” said Cheryl Durst, IIDA executive vice president and CEO. “The international nature of the competition is exceptionally inspiring as we think about the growing impact interior design has made on the community at large.”

"I was impressed by the quality of entries in every category,” said Julio Braga a member of the judging panel. “The jury was inspired by many of the projects, which were strategically sound and beautifully executed. We were also encouraged to see new countries represented in the competition. This highlights the importance of design in emerging markets.”
