Known for bringing together industry leaders around the world to discuss changes, new introductions, materials and trends in design, ICFF is setting the stage for an education component by calling for proposals for its series of ICFF Talks.
The Talks will take place during ICFF 2016 – May 14-17 at the Javits Center in New York City.
“For years, the ICFF Talks has been a catalyst for creative conversation between designers, brands and industry leaders,” said Kevin O’Keefe, ICFF event director. “Positioned right on the show floor, ICFF Talks reaches an audience of over 150 architects, interior designers, developers, and visual merchandisers who join in to listen and learn about what is happening in their industry.”
Last year, presentation topics included innovation in materials, the rise of connectivity in design, new design approaches in color and style for residential, hospitality, contract and luxury retail environments.
ICFF Talks presentations can be submitted by attendees, exhibitors, brands and design professionals. Proposals can be submitted online. The deadline for entries is Jan. 31. Representatives for Talks proposals will be notified in January, and the Talks line-up announced in the spring 2016.
