IMC Partners with Steelyard

International Market Centers has partnered with Steelyard to enhance the in-person experience of the Las Vegas Market with a year-round experience online for designers and exhibitors.

The collaboration leverages Steelyard’s ability to promote exhibitor products on its web and mobile online marketplace — and a new search and planning tool that aids in market preparation.

Steelyard (previously TODL) is a professional online marketplace enabling product research and specification year-round through its platform.

“The design community is an important component of our market, and partnering with Steelyard assists our interior designer attendees in connecting with brands and products before, during and after Market,” said Karen Olson, senior vice president of marketing for IMC. “We continue to explore relevant ways to connect our buyers and designers with the most appropriate products for their needs and to expose them to new resources. This is one more way of doing that. As a result, our tenants and exhibitors benefit from increased and pre-educated foot traffic and gain valuable insight into which of their products are of interest to the design community.”

The Las Vegas Market Product Search and Planning Tool in Steelyard enables professional designers to browse products and brands by category, search by keyword and filter based on specific needs. A single click enables them to select brands that fit buying needs and add them to their “Must See” list. From there, they can organize the list alphabetically, by building and location or by their newest additions.

“Designers need to maximize their time at market by knowing which showrooms have the products they specify – whether they be luxury or mid-range, mass-manufactured or bespoke,” said Stacey Tiveron, founder of Steelyard. “Brands need the right buyers in their showrooms – those that purchase their type of products. Partnering with Las Vegas Market is about leveraging technology to directly affect the market experience; ultimately enabling more efficient and rapid commerce between professional designers and the brands that serve them.”

The Las Vegas Market section in Steelyard opens with brands including Oxford Garden, Jaipur Rugs, Gabby, GO Home, Peninsula Home Collection, Sunpan, VIG Furniture and Zuo Modern. Many other designer-friendly brands are included and more are in production to launch between winter and summer Markets 2016. Every brand is enabled, at both the brand and product level, to be searched and added to each attendee's "Must See" list.
