6 Named ARTS Awards Judges

ART and Dallas Market Center have named six judges for its 27th annual ARTS Awards set for January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.

The panel of judges is made up of Alan Galbraith, Snoa Garrigan, Jason Harris, Susan Inglis, Connie Post and Mark Vaughn.

Galbraith is president of furniture supplier John-Richard. Prior to joining John-Richard, Galbraith was CEO of Fine Art Lamps, president of the portable lamp division at Kichler Lighting and CEO of Corbett Lighting.

Garrigan is the executive director of the Interior Design Society, overseeing the national office operations.

Harris is founder of The Design Network and executive vice president of Furnitureland South The online Design Network kicked off in 2013 and features home decorating content by designers, architects and other industry influencers.

Inglis is executive director of Sustainable Furnishings Council and founder of From the Mountain. She has more than 25 years of experience working with artisans and in sustainable manufacturing in the home furnishings, fashion, and gift industries. Inglis exclusively serves as the Green Category judge and will review only the manufacturing finalist’s submissions.

Post is a retail design strategist working with retailers and manufacturers to create dynamic spaces. She is the principal and founder of Affordable Design Solutions/Connie Post International. 

Vaughan is vice president of Domain XCIV, a retailer of high-end furniture, dinnerware, linens and home accessories. 

The judges will select winners from 23 different categories for the awards, which will be presented during a gala event Friday, Jan. 22 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
